Revelation of Saint John (Third Part).

Chapter 6:

The Third Part of the book of Revelation is a general description of the Final Judgment and the approaching events, understandable to the Jews then, who knew the Scriptures and what the prophets had written inspired by the Holy Spirit through the centuries. In the following Fourth Part, it shall be broken down even with more details and particulars in the revelation to the apostle John and for the equal knowledge of the gentiles, who at the beginning of Christianity had access mainly to the New Testament, but mostly the Gospel message given by the Son of God, Christ, instructed as a special commission to the nations of the world.

The door to the Kingdom of God one day will be completely closed, and the knocks or blows will not be enough, because it could not even be found as well as in ancient times when the Sodomites attacked the nephew of Abraham, Lot, and ended up being damaged each others as they were not able to find such desired door (Gen 19:9-15), and under a heavy wrath of God.

In some places, like all biblical prophecies, the revelation moves from present to future, without forgetting the past, so here it is revealed to the apostle John an introduction about the trial which is coming and where God intervenes personally. Now is the End of Time and the hour of vengeance; because yes reader, it exists the revenge and the wrath of the Creator, and it is fair and Divine. It is the same that you feel when wanting murderers, rapists and dictators to be brought into a court of justice and make them pay for their crimes. In order to enter eternity, it is necessary to be correctly dressed if you want to pass through the gate established by Yahweh. Well, the court is ready, the time to pay back has come, and it begins a justice and judgment that will shake the heavens and the earth.

As we saw in the Second Part, the Lamb was granted the right to open the book (5:9) containing seven seals, in which are locked in, generally, the calamities that are approaching to this world at the End of Times, of which the apostle did not hesitate or doubt as he had lived through the bloody imperial persecutions under the emperors Nero (64 AD) and Domitian (96 AD); and so now he can clearly convey to the Christian world that the Second Coming of Christ was not imminent, but still had to walk history; till our present days.

In the beginning of Christianity the letters of Paul—writer which can easily be misinterpreted if not analyzed as a whole, and not just verses—were misunderstood and the Christian churches thought that Christ was on the verge of coming and restoring his Kingdom. Here Saint John tell us clearly that the coming judgment was not confined simply to imperial persecutions, but to a world-wide government... in a man-made nuclear era, with famines, hungers, and stars falling from heaven...

The white horse is Christ (v.1), not the Antichrist as some have said. The Antichrist will never receive a crown as he is an usurper (Dn 11:21), who will be able to lay way in the European Union, since he does it now—as we speak—in silence until the coming time when he gets to reveal himself by manipulating an unhealthy and elitist clique, who are responsible for the election of a leader which represents their political and financial self-interests. There are no free general elections, only in sachets, and he will give them all a big surprise after they choose him, and later settles down in his contour and outline. Here that symbolism of the Son of God in a white horse is simply revealed, but later with more details during his living actions in the next revelation (19:11).

The first four seals (v.1-8) bring to this world the ‘Third World War’ whose main focus is the Middle East. It is represented here by the red horse; and red symbolizing blood and destruction. It will generate a large thermonuclear exchange among the world armies, accompanied by civil wars, looting and abuse in all nations. This rider on a red horse had been given power to take all peace from the earth and people will kill each other (v.4); followed by a black horse that will cause a severe famine never seen on earth so far, where a crumb of bread will cost a lot... 

Where are the dead going? Behold a pale like yellow horse and its rider is called Death (v.8), and hell followed him, and he was given power to kill by a sword, famine, and with the beasts of the earth a quarter of the planet, and it count as millions. When he opened the fifth seal (v.9), the Apostle John saw the souls of Christians which passed away or were killed during these two thousand years and the great persecutions of his time, who then would be approaching their eternal resurrection (1 Thess 4:16) and they cried aloud: How long, o Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

When you see all of this happening, then you will know that your redemption is near (Lk 21:28). The world then will be living through days of distresses, uncertainty and anxiety (Mt 24:21). And as we see here the sixth seal is opened and the wrath of God will begin to manifest itself directly. An enormous and massive earthquake ever seen for all the big cities like Rome, Washington DC, New York, Dubai, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, San Francisco, Paris, London, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles, and also all the capitals of the world crumbling down like a house of cards, and great darkness will cover an extensive part of the planet, showing a moon colored like blood while meteorites hitting and impacting the earth (v.12-13). How much moan, weeping and sorrow!...

Chapter 7:

There will be an exorbitant and irresistible grueling heat all over the planet, with people barely able to breathe (v.1), but before that happens, Christians will be protected by those angels in charge of the process; advised yet to not destroy neither trees nor the nations, nor the sea, until the disciples of God are spiritually marked on their foreheads (v.3) and so the plagues do not reach them. This had its prophetic symbolism 3500 years before (1500 BC) when—while Israel in Egypt—the Passover lamb's blood smeared as a mark on the doorsteps of God's people, saved from the imminent death of the firstborns (Ex 12:21-24, 29-36)...

Among the elect of God there will be 144 000 Jewish converts to Christianity from all the tribes of Israel (v.4-8), scattered everywhere, spreading the message of Christ around the world, suffering martyrdom, along with millions of Gentiles converts in every tribe, peoples and tongues, waiting for the end of so many anxieties and the time of redemption and resurrection into a new eternal body that will ever know death (1 Cor 15:51-54)...

Chapter 8:

And then he opened the seventh seal—to the astonishment of the apostle John... Thunder, uncertain voices, lightning, tremors and earthquakes in all nations. The military conflict between these nations in turn reach a new dimension...
