Today and tomorrow: and on the Third Day I shall be perfected.

“And he said to them: go you, and tell that fox: Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. Nevertheless I must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perishes out of Jerusalem.”

(Luke 13:32-33)

First keep in mind that Christ calls the tetrarch a Herod s a fox, malicious like a snake, and all without fear of being challenged by his coreligionists. Today we see––especially in places like Cuba, where I was born––some Christians and church members who drool themselves with the dictators Castros, extolling and calling them heroes of the poor, when in reality they are no more than bloody tyrants, enemies of the cross of Christ and violators of the most basic human rights. Diabolical cunning manipulators capable of any lie as long as they can keep grabbing power together with their privileged families until as much is possible for them.

Freedom is a gift from God, and humans willing to live under an oppressive regime being partakers of the injustices are affronting God’s commandments and do not deserve the gift of grace, but the dark prisons which the apostle Peter reveals when referring to Hell, for those who were not able to live without fear (2 Pet 2:4-6); and the Lord has given us the power to bind, to tie, and to untie on earth (Mt 18:18).

Once the Lord refers about the corrupt Herod, he prophesies in a simple speech––like a message to the State power––in relation to the time of his Second Coming.

After his birth, ministry, and crucifixion shall elapse two Millennia=2000 years, here represented as “today and tomorrow,” and at the 3rd Millennium––“third day”––it would come the consummation of our history; that is, the extinction of wickedness from this planet, which will bring the Final stage, perfection, and completion of God’s Plan, and the work the Creator prepared in Christ Jesus before the foundation of the physical world, in order to bring us the Redemption of mankind.

And you probable will tell me: no, Christ was actually referring here to three days after sending the message to Herod he would be crucified. No, dear reader, you are wrong if you think so.

When the Son of God pronounced this sentence (v.32) he had not even come to Jerusalem, and on the third day––or as he says “after tomorrow”––he would still be working and “walking” (v.33). Nor can he refers to the three days that elapsed while his body lay in the tomb (after crucified), for there he could not cast out demons or perform any physical healings; but went down to Hell and preach to the dead spirits in prison about the Good News and Gospel of Salvation (2 Pet 3:19, 4:6).

Having clarified this let us continue.

Since the Christian Era began to be registered and subsequently was inscribed in the annals of history, it has officially gone 2011 years. In 2001 we started the 3rd Millennium after Christ, which corresponds to the “third day” he revealed in this quote we are reviewing.

Will it come the Lord in this 3rd Millennium or Third Day? This 3rd Millennium equally amounts and is equivalent to the 7th Millennium which from the beginning––Creation––we have been foretold by the mouth of the holy prophets that would happen the establishment of God’s Kingdom. If you have read all the biblical prophecies discussed in the author’s books, then you shall noticed that we are at the doors, and very near to witness the final events before the Second Advent of the Savior.

This is also a prophecy that has absolute harmony with the System 3 and System 7 that we discussed in the Pentateuch. We are not just guessing, “He who has ears to hear let him hear” (Mt 11:15).
