Two flows: A single stream of the Lord.

“...And the lord said to the servant: go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in…”

(Luke 14:16-24)

What does it means “compel them to come in?” (v.23).

The Lord prophesies here something that has subsequently happened as his “House or Church” has grown over the centuries lived since then. Those of the “highways and hedges” are gentiles that receiving Jesus by faith would join the people of God through the shed blood of God’s Son on the Cross of Calvary. Compelled into his Word and Verb thanks to his great mercy, for they are not lost.

They would be pushed or “compelled to come in” into the Church of Christ while considering we are under the “year of the Lord” (4:19), allowing the gentiles ‘not to fulfill’ certain commandments of Yahweh; meaning some requirements in the Word of God which must be observed by the Jews (Rom 3:1-2), and helping to a particular furthermore understanding of God’s ways and harmonious spiritual growth not only primarily based on ensuring the Salvation and entry into eternity.

Because of being the “acceptable year of the Lord” it has been required to the gentiles, just some restrictions established under the Law of God (Acts 15:19-20, 28-29), and temporarily removed the other for their “hardness of heart” and so it will not be a stumbling block or obstacle into the Salvation provided by Yahweh, which is through faith in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:9-8).

This does not mean that the other commandments of the Holy Father are not necessary or good––for he is not wrong or prescribe any useless Law––but because of their extreme disbelief and incredulity prone to the lost humans, God has ‘stretched’ certain rules and spiritual goals, pending till when installed the Millenarian Kingdom of Jesus Christ, and concludes that “acceptable year;” since then this world will be governed by the Holy Law of God (Rev 2:26-27, Mic 4:1-2).

During the Millennium the world will experience the blessing of Eden, but must abide by that Law which many criticize today branding it as obsolete. Sodom thought the Divine Laws were outdated, old fashioned, and severe; however, their immoralities and materials abundances did not prevent them into a social breakdown and final destruction, removed forever. From the time of Jesus until today God has authorized the Gospel of the Good News taking two ‘paths or streams’ (Gal 2:7-8), addressed to gentiles and Jews, which promptly shall be joined in a single marvelous torrent of God (Rom 11:23-27).
