It is now, in the last days.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. And many people shall go… for out of Sion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people… Enter into the rock, and hide you in the dust, for fear of Yahweh… The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down… for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he rises to shake terribly the earth…. In that day…”

(Isaiah 2:1-5, 10-21)

The quoting “that day” which the prophet Isaiah announced to all of us is now very close; so close that many blind people cannot see it. This passage goes back ultimately to the last days––our present age and generation––when God’s chosen comes to judge the earth.

Here Yahweh is represented by Jesus Christ, appearing in huge blaze (Mt 24:27) and glory under a frightful devouring fire (2 Pet 3:10). At that time, and that is why we see from now on the political broths warming up in Israel––with a brief and distorted peace treaty which will be signed soon––affliction in the world, due to the injustices of their kings will reach unimaginable levels (Mt 24:21), so the pride and haughtiness of men shall be humbled and humiliated, when the angelic trumpets of the Lamb of God’s angels shall manifest the divine wrath (Mt 16:27, Rev 6:12-17). The land will be severely injured (v.19), all accompanied by a devastating Third World War.

People will seek death but hopelessly to not find it; that is, suffering is inevitable (Rev 9:6). There will be total chaos in the world accompanied by natural disasters (13:9-11; Rev 8:7-13), reason why many will run from one place to another––as showing in this citation of the prophet Isaiah that we are analyzing––looking in vain for a hole and safe place to hide (v.10, 19, 21). Have you ever wondered why the rich and powerful build bunkers under their houses? That day will not help them much going to hide. God will punish the false idolatries of this world, including the atheists ones (v.14-16, 18), and to those who share with them (v.20). Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth! (Rev 8:13).

God will shake the heavens (13:13) and the earth in his indignation and wrath (Rev 16:18); it will be such a big earthquake as has never been since men have inhabited the earth. The main scene and stage of the world war will be in the territory of Israel (Rev 16:14-16; Ez 38: 12, 18-23). A great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel (24:13-23; Ez 39:17-21). Terror, pit and snare on the inhabitants of the earth, to be split asunder, with that conflict affecting all nations; being greatly moved all the people. It tells us that the gates of hell will be opened and viewed. A massive sacking on all the earth is foretold by the prophet Isaiah (24:3-6). Emptied by God in his wrath, falling by their sins, ignorances, abuses, lies and injustices. It is the judgment of the nations.

Stars and meteorites will fall from heaven (34:1; Mt 24:29) and a frightening and tormenting thermonuclear heat that will burn too many (Rev 16:8-9). Seven last plagues in which is consumed the wrath of God (Rev 15:1), and as cut off thorns millions will be consumed by the fire (33:10-14), lowering the ever cumulative hypocrisy. Seek the Lord while he may be found: Now! because this time––we are told––that Christ Jesus is coming not to let himself be spitted, slapped or crucified; but he comes to judge and rule with a rod of iron (Rev 2:27).

While so many are broken like a potter’s vessel; the Christian converts who remain on the planet will be spiritually marked and indicated (Rev 7:3), being protected from God’s plagues avoiding thus to come upon them. At the time of the final and overwhelming destruction; in unison, the Lord Jesus Christ himself with the voice of an archangel and the trumpet of God will descend from heaven and the dead in Christ shall rise first, and Christians still living, the people and God’s Church, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the sky (1 Thess 4, 16-17); saved from that immediate destruction, and all together descending to begin from Sion and Jerusalem––as the prophet Isaiah says here, v.2-3––the eternal kingdom of God, beginning with the Millenarian Kingdom of Jesus Christ (Rev 20:4-6), and hence the prophet assures us that since then the people “shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore” (v.4).

We do not intend to extend more on this note, so I will include the citations that can be searched on the book of the prophet Isaiah concerning the Last Judgment and the Millennial Kingdom.
