The prophetic covenant of circumcision.

God, for the first time in bible history calls a man with the honorable title of great Friend and this man was the Hebrew of Syrian origin Abraham. In his extraordinary dispensation of time and things the Creator reveals to his special friend the Plan of Redemption for the human race when enjoining him to perform circumcision even being an old man; and circumcise at the same time all males born in his household in their 8th day. The first 8 days of every born man symbolically reflect in itself those 8 millennia, being the 7th, in which the Redeemer of mankind would establish his Millenarian Kingdom.

This is another among the major biblical prophecies: the Circumcision. God made that covenant with the patriarch Abraham in whom are marked both peoples which would merge in the then future––now near––meaning the Jewish people and the Christian, to form in Jesus Christ just One people of God: the Israel of God (Rom 9:6, 25-27; Gal 6:16).

Abraham was not under the Official Law, although this does not mean that he was unaware of it or did not fulfill the laws of God (18:19, 26:5), which were later formalized and given to the Hebrew people about 400-500 years after Abraham; that is, the circumcision is not given under the Law of Moses––as many suppose––but given to the patriarch, in whom were represented the two covenants: the ritual law and the law of faith (Col 2:14; Phil 3:9).

Hence we see that John the Baptist, centuries later is circumcised (Lk 1:59). Jesus is circumcised (Lk 2:21). The apostle Paul and his disciple Timothy are circumcised (Acts 16:1-3) recalling that it holds a pact and knowledge of a divine arcane (Rom 3:1-2; Gal 2:7-8). It is in this case a symbolic pact that reflects continuity of currents and times, and not a means of salvation.

It is true that circumcision involves hygienic benefits and that is the way the omniscient Creator has prepared his precepts; all well intended and not just symbolic, in the same way that a conjugal union can bring not only procreation and physical refreshment, but also security and spiritual stability under the divine auspices.

In general terms the circumcision was given to Abraham under faith and not law, revealing that humans would be six millennia in their own governments experiencing their own will apart from God––unless they sincerely wanted to look for him––creating their own laws and under their idiosyncratic cultures. At the 7th millennium, according to the Scriptures, in which we recently entered, and in a close date set as the End of Times, at a moment of great social unrest in our world as the aforementioned Great Battle of Al-Megiddo, then the Son of God and Redeemer of mankind would be back onto the world from heaven itself, being seen by everybody, to establish a Millenarian Kingdom from Jerusalem, ruled directly by him.

After pointing out the prophecy of the 7 days or Millennia (Gn 2:2-3 and Dt 5:12-14) and noticing that the 7th day prophesies the 7th Millennium which would be of rest and blessings (Rev 20:4-6; Is 32:17-18), also continues the arcane telling us that the 8th day or millennium, the redeemer Christ delivers the Kingdom to God the Father and Creator of all (1 Cor 15:24-28), beginning thus the 8th Millennium. At the same time it represents an entire Christian people unified and well prepared to meet the Almighty God Father (Rev 21:1-4, 22). In the beginning of the 8th Millennium, according to the Holy Scriptures, his Son Jesus would be assigned the official position of Eternal Priest after the Order of Melchizedek (Heb 4:14, 6 and 7:17, 21).

This unification of those peoples is symbolized in this rite of the circumcision (v.12-13, 27) when we see that both the home born––Hebrew––as the foreign purchased abroad––converted Gentile––could become through this 8th day covenant, like a single, unified people of God; as a great family of peoples under one same Kingdom.

Evil will be torn off forever (Rev 21:4); and is that evil the one symbolized in this covenant and ritual of the circumcision through the foreskin, which is removed at the 8th day as a prophecy that points to what God will do in the 8th millennium, when still, at the end of the 7th, the nations of Gog and Magog (Rev 20:8) will attempt to re-establish the wickedness but they will be cut off instantly and forever from life.

Analogously years after Abraham, God made Joshua to see it (Jos 5:7-9); the same Hebrew’s liberator successor of Moses and in charge of entering God’s people to the promised land, understanding that circumcision locked in itself not a purely physical but also a symbolic message, as an inextinguishable beacon that lit the ages of human history.

The Hebrew people acquired its etymology thanks to Heber, Noah’s grandson (Gn 11:14-16), whom God revealed that the world would then be shocked at Babel with a single event which would be difficult to imagine and it is that never again they shall speak the same language. Thus since that occasion the earth would be divided into nations creating their own cultures and languages (Gn 11:6-9).

Product of such revelation given to God’s man Heber, is that at birth his son was named Peleg––meaning “division”––and from whom subsequently descends Abraham (or Abram), and later Jacob (or Israel). That is why Abram is called ‘the Hebrew,’ like the children of Israel. Heber=Hebereo=Hebrew.

When it begins the Millennial Kingdom––a thousand years––in this 7th millennium and not as far in our current era, in all the earth will be a One Kingdom only; just one unified world and political system in the administrative, social and spiritual sense itself; but each retaining their respective nations, converted forever to the Creator of heaven and earth, and being the sun which we will reflect as human moons destined for the success of eternity.
